UNEARTHED
The artworks in the
exhibition express characteristics inspired
by the past, thereby demonstrating the 
importance of inspiring future generations.

The artists invited to take part in this
exhibition were given these guidelines to
bear in mind -

A sense of the primitive;
of having been unearthed;
time-worn artefacts;
rawness of cloth;
historic reference.

These qualities are all present in the
finished artworks made with the materials 
clay, cloth, wood, stone, metal, paper
and mixed media and together they create
a strong and interesting collection.
