Jacky is enthusiastic to work with others, to realise their creative potential, what ever their background, through excellent differentiation, responding to their needs and aspirations.
With a flexible, responsive and confident approach, Jacky always offers participants a variety of ways to develop their ideas. Supporting participants to work in a way that has personal significance, whether in subject matter, the physical creation of the piece or development of new found skills. With her experience she is able to take creative risks and allow participants to experiment with ideas and processes, pushing boundaries and making sure they will leave the session with a real sense of achievement.
Within the community she has facilitated workshops with a variety of groups ranging from families, pensioner groups, museum/art groups. She has also taught primary and secondary schools, ( both mainstream and SEN), in pupil referral units as well as on foundation courses, and at undergraduate level.
Jacky can offer workshops in mixed media sculpture, metalwork - cuttlefish casting, piercing, soldering, enamelling, etching, drawing, printmaking, casting in plaster, jewellery and creating body related sculptures and book making.
