EmPowered Artist in Residence at Watlington House, Reading with the Jelly Reading

Reading emPOWERed is a collaborative community heritage and arts project run by the Mills Archive Trust and supported by Jelly, a Reading-based arts charity. Hosted at the historic Watlington House, the initiative celebrates wind and waterpower and explores their connections to renewable energy. Looking at the transition from traditional mills to modern structures and examines the role of wind and water turbines in combating climate change. Jacky Oliver and Matt Hulse researched  the Watlinghouse Mill Archives and using this material to develop ideas. They shared both their research and creative practice in a research workshop and with local schools. Jacky also created a piece for the archives collection.​
