With a love of folded and unfolded maps, Eastings and Northings takes inspiration from the faint blue grid lines on an OS (Ordnance Survey) map. These lines are part of the National Grid, the system that helps pinpoint locations on the map. Both vertical and horizontal, these lines are referred to as eastings (vertical) and northings (horizontal). The piece is free standing, fabricated by hand, silversoldered and painted with enamel paint.
